Institute for Public-Private Partnership was founded in 2008 as a private institute with the belief that legal and economic scientific research in the field of public-private partnership should be encouraged and that the results of the research should be systematically transferred into practice. Institute for Public-Private Partnership is involved in different projects combining public-private partnerships, services of general economic and non-economic interest, calls for tenders, public procurements, project management, economic studies, conclusion of different types of commercial contracts, project financing and other related subjects.
Various young associates and external consultants are working within Institute for Public-Private Partnership. Experts from legal and economic branches, communication studies and project management upgrade their scientific work with implementation of gained knowledge into the practice. Described type of work allows close connection between the theory and practice, which is very much needed in Slovenia since the notion of public-private partnership is only at its outset. We draw from rich domestic and foreign experiences, as well as the knowledge and work of established professors. There are only few examples of good practise and very little scientific papers available in Slovenia dealing with public-private partnerships at the present time which we would like to change. We promote scientific work for the needs of the economy and we are aware that our work is not and should not be limited to Slovenia alone.
The main advantages of Institute for Public-Private Partnership are:
- professional work and reliability;
- flexibility and creativity;
- transfer of theoretical knowledge to conquer problems in practice;
- multidisciplinary approach;
- knowledge based upon foreign and domestic theories and practice;
- practical experience and references in managing various complex projects related to public-private partnerships, public procurement, provision of services of general economic and non-economic interest, calls for tenders, project management, economic studies, acts of concessions, public contracts, project financing etc.;
- commitment.
Institute for Public-Private Partnership assures and guarantees that all services will be provided on time by capable and experienced experts possessing practical experience in consulting the public and private sector.
We look forward to working with you!
