ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The Institute for Public-Private Partnership was founded in 2008 with the aim of stimulating scientific research activity in the field of legal and economic science, with special emphasis on issues related to the concepts of public-private partnerships, public services, public tenders and public procurement, state aid, project management, preparation of economic and investment studies, project financing and other related topics.

Thus, within the framework of the Institute, a group of experts from various fields, especially law, economics, project management and communication, came together. The Institute formed a dynamic, professional and inquisitive research group. The team, which grows thoughtfully and carefully, consists of employees of the Institute and external experts, which builds on its academic and research work by implementing projects in practice under the principle of "science for the needs of the economy".

The main advantages of the Institute are:

  • Professionalism and reliability;
  • Flexibility and creativity;
  • Connecting theoretical knowledge with issues that arise in practice;
  • The multidisciplinary principle of work enabling experts from different fields to be involved in the project, who jointly design a solution to a specific problem;
  • Knowledge of domestic and foreign theory and practice;
  • Practical experience and references in the management of complex projects in the field of public-private partnerships, public procurement, management of public investments, regulation of public services and concessions, preparation of economic and investment studies, preparation of public contracts, concessions and other general acts on public-private partnerships, etc.
  • The activities of the Institute for Public-Private Partnership are project- and target-oriented.

The Institute for Public-Private Partnership guarantees that all services will be provided by qualified and experienced experts from the areas of the Institute's activities mentioned above, who have practical experience in advising on projects both on the public and private side, and therefore can provide a comprehensive analysis of each of the project and thus contribute to its successful realisation.
